Find yourself a 60’s country squire wagon......some had a 428. I know for a fact, although the internet says no, that maybe 15 were built with a 429cj....unicorns are out there.

Land yachts are fun in their own way. I can’t describe exactly why, but they just are. I love mine, anyway.

Irks me how they did the body and not the interior - that dash chrome wouldn’t be too hard to set right, and I fear what lurks under that dash cover. A certain pic of exterior chrome also make me skeptical. Still, it’d probably exceed the asking price to renovate a shabby car to this state, especially if done properly .
My X-type is too a real Jaguar

That’s the Barber’s car, I
grew up in a small town in Northern Maine and the Barber drove one of those all summer I thought it was cool the rear window rolled down in a sedan.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

Long low and wide. I know 60s cars peaked in collectibility A few years ago, but with the dominance of CUVs and higher window lines on cars I can see them shooting back up the near future.
My point is buy it now

I want a 1961—1963 Thunderdbird. By the way, I hate ‘formal’ rooflines of the ‘bullet bird’ hardtops, that Monterey, and on and on.

I had only really looked at the exterior - that interior could use a refresh , too, now that I’ve seen it.

I had to look that up - I really don’t know much about old American metal.
Thunderbird looks real nice, but what do you mean by a “formal” roofline?

It’s not my kind of car by any means - I tend to like small, nimble cars but the look of this car caught my eye. It really stood out in the sea of regular cars for sale.

I get a feeling the owner hit their expense limit. This is a car where restoration costs can easily fly past the value of a concours car (for a car like this likely double or triple) - same story on many old cars.

I understand... I think for day to day use I’d prefer an interior refresh with some patina on the exterior rather than this way.
I’m not actually going to buy it, it’s just something interesting I saw and wanted to kill some time at work.

Same here. You’re looking at the interior a lot more. Fortunately, this doesn’t look too tough to clean up inside, seat surfaces look fine, dash just needs detailing.
I think this car is priced maybe 25% optimistically.
